Getting started with Linux

If you haven't heard of GNU plus Linux yet, I suggest installing Devuan might the best choice for the kind soul like you. Start from daily use it, then add whatever software you heard from internet and fix whatever bugs it come with. You will master linux in one day and by the end of the day you'll realise all Linux distros out there is all the same thing but come from different assholes.

Distro Hopping

This mental illness come from the feeling being not good enough even though It covers most of your usecases. Here's what makes each distro different

• Using different package manager

If you want to know which package manager is the best, use Bedrock Linux. You don't need to reinstall, you can transform devuan or your current setup to Bedrock Linux with following their instructions page.

Updates

You don't need to update every time you open terminal like your college taught you. I assure you there'll be no hacker suddenly block your porn site just because you don't updoote your shitty Linux.

Gaymin'

Check winedb or protondb for compatibility to gaems you have. Most Steam games already support Linux cuz uncle gabe like loonix apparently.

Office stuff

Just use web apps for that, like MS Office now have turned into web apps. Or use MS Office 2007 with winedb and It'll work just fine.
